Alghanim Industries, the region’s leading Costa Coffee franchisee, has joined forces with the Saudi Coffee Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, in a strategic partnership to elevate Saudi Arabia’s coffee culture globally.

This collaboration coincides with the opening of Alghanim’s 100th Costa Coffee store in the Kingdom, signifying a shared dedication to promoting coffee appreciation worldwide.

The partnership will showcase Jazean, a specialty coffee brand owned by the Saudi Coffee Company, featuring exclusive blends cultivated in Saudi Arabia’s southern region. This move highlights the depth and quality of local coffee and contributes to Saudi Arabia’s vision of becoming a major player in the global coffee market.

“This partnership is more than just business,” said Alghanim Industries’ Executive Chairman Kutayba Alghanim. “It’s about supporting the Saudi community and its rich coffee traditions, aligning perfectly with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals for job creation and economic growth.”

The agreement strengthens Alghanim Industries’ decade-long alliance with Costa Coffee. “This collaboration allows us to offer the best of both worlds: global excellence alongside the unique flavors of Jazean coffee,” said Mahmoud Samara, CEO of Alghanim Industries. “By leveraging our position as the largest Costa Coffee franchisee, we can introduce Saudi coffee to a wider audience.”

The Saudi Coffee Company, through its focus on Jazean and sustainable coffee production, is a key player in this initiative. “We are excited to partner with Alghanim Industries to showcase Saudi coffee beans on the global stage,” said Khalid Abu Theeb, CEO of the Saudi Coffee Company.

This collaboration extends beyond coffee beans. Alghanim Industries sources a significant portion of its Costa Coffee food offerings from local Saudi suppliers, further highlighting its commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s brands and economy.

The partnership between Alghanim Industries and the Saudi Coffee Company promises to significantly enhance the consumer experience, promote Saudi coffee culture globally, and contribute positively to the Saudi economy.
