
ABU DHABI // A major conference that aims to tackle the challenge of meeting the future food requirements of the region will be held in the capital.
MENA Food Production 2030 will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and will seek to create dialogue between government, scientists and food producers.
The aim is to help develop secure, sustainable and profitable food production systems and meet the demand from an estimated 520 million people by 2030.
The conference takes place on March 20 and 21 as part of the Global Forum for Innovators in Agriculture.
