CR2 announce new CEO, Fintan Byrne and CFO, Paul Geraghty.

CR2 has today announced that its Board of Directors have appointed Fintan Byrne as Chief Executive Officer and Paul Geraghty as Chief Financial Officer, both of whom will also be sitting on the Board of Directors effective immediately. Fintan joins CR2 from his most recent role as General Manager for Europe with Mastercard Payment Gateway Services while Paul joins most recently from IBM having worked for the past 3 years as CFO for Curam Software.

Fintan has significant experience in the financial services and financial technology industry, having performed numerous high level strategic roles in market leading organisations within Ireland, the UK and Europe. Fintan brings his skills and experience gained within his previous positions including Managing Director at TNS Pay, General Manager for Europe and VP Sales for UK and Ireland at TNS, as well as Global Sales and Marketing with NCR.

Paul brings to CR2 his extensive experience in the technology industry, having worked with Curam Software since 2004 and moving with the organisation after its acquisition by IBM in January 2012, defining and communicating the financial strategy of the business. His previous notable positions include CFO and Acquisitions and Integration Project Manager at Curam Software / IBM, as well as Operations Manager, Financial Controller and Finance manager with previous companies.
