ITWORX Education claimed the title during an honorary ceremony recently held at Dusit Thani Hotel in Abu Dhabi, following the Company’s participation at the BETT Middle East Expo, during which it shared next-generation ideas and innovative, technology-led classroom practices and solutions to stakeholders across the region.

The Company’s acclaimed pilot project in a Syrian refugee camp in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, combined its WinjiGo social learning platform, using a blended learning model, with digital content tied into curriculums and smart, technology-powered learning centers.

Commenting on the win, Mr. Hatem Sallam, CEO of ITWORX Education, said:

“We are honored by the recognition WinjiGo continues to garner from industry experts around the world. Winning the ‘Game Changer’ Award by BETT Middle East crowns the efforts we made to bring 21st Century education technologies to an underprivileged community that was in desperate need of a forward-thinking solution, which restores faith in the capacity of inventive classroom practices to win back an entire generation of out-of-school children who can in turn help create a brighter future for their communities. This trophy further propels ITWORX Education to continue its ‘schools without borders’ mission and spare no effort in bringing our innovative solutions to more regions with obstacles in realizing their educational objectives.”

Designed as an immersive and interactive learning experience, the ‘WinjiGo’ e-learning platform is equipped with a set of features including course planning, a gamified learning experience for formative and summative assessment, self-assessment, social communities, and virtual classrooms. It integrates with Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage services for file accessibility around the world.
