The Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical sector is the largest non-oil sector, with investment estimated at USD 63.5–150 billion expected in 2020 alone, according to the Saudi Arabia industrial overview report published in August 2016 by Jeddah Chamber.

“The petrochemical industry in Saudi Arabia is expected to produce ~115 million tons in 2016. While the exports have been seeing a CAGR of 15% and are estimated to reach 100 million tons in 2016,” Khanna added.

Attendees to ArabPlast 2017 will get the occasion to discover a wide range of products that provide functionalities in injection moulding, blow molding, wrapping and packaging or pre and post plastic processing techniques as well as raw materials, such as masterbatches, additives and polymers. Some of the machinery and new technologies to be displayed include plastic machinery, plastic/rubber processing technology, pre and post-processing systems, plastic packaging technology, injection moulding, blow moulding, wrapping technology, extrusions, chemicals and additives, semi finished goods, engineering plastics and plastic products.
