Lebanon's BLOM BANK wins bank of the year by Visa International

BLOM BANK, the leading bank in Lebanon, was recently recognized by Visa as “Bank of the Year for 2016”. The award was presented at a meeting held at the Bank’s headquarters in Verdun on December 16^th in the presence of Mr. Ihab Ayoub, General Manager for the Middle East and North Africa at Visa, Mr. Nabil Tabbara –Regional Manager for the Levant at Visa, Mr. Ramzi Saboury, Country Manager for Lebanon and Iraq at Visa along with BLOM BANK officials namely Mr. Saad Azhari, Chairman and General Manager; Mr. Elias Aractingi, General Manager; and Mrs. Jocelyne Chahwan, Assistant General Manager.

BLOM BANK was awarded this distinction in recognition of its innovative products and service offerings, coupled with its steady performance.

Mr. Azhari thanked Visa and said: “we take great pride in this prestigious praise from Visa. This award is a testimony to the efforts we deploy in the aim of achieving our vision to be the bank which leads the way locally and regionally”.
