Russia Receives 150 Crypto Mining License Applications

Since the enactment of new cryptocurrency mining regulations in November, Russia’s State Tax Agency has received 150 applications for mining licenses. The regulations, effective from November 1, allow business entities and individual entrepreneurs to legally mine, provided they meet registration and compliance requirements with the Ministry of Digital Development and undergo anti-money laundering checks.
