Shangri-La Hotel Doha welcomes new Executive Chef Jean-Luc Morcellet to its dining scene

Doha, Qatar – 3 April: Shangri-La Hotel Doha, owned by Al Rayan Tourism Investment Company (ARTIC), the international hospitality subsidiary of Al Faisal Holding Company, headed by His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, proudly welcomes Chef Jean-Luc Morcellet on-board as the new Executive Chef.

Chef Morcellet, originally from France, has over 20 years of international experience, having worked in reputable hotel chains around the world. In addition, he worked at historical landmarks such as, The Dorchester and The Savoy in London where he led culinary teams while having the privilege to cater to important personalities including, late South African President Nelson Mandela and the Queen of England.

Before becoming a part of the Shangri-La family, Chef Morcellet was the previous Executive Chef of St. Regis Doha and spent 10 years in Dubai working with Grosvenor House, West Marina Beach and The Palace – Downtown, Dubai.
