
ABU DHABI // The Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival in Al Wathba has been extended for three more weeks after attracting a strong turnout.
The announcement implemented the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, which were followed up by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The festival, which began on December 1, was intended to run until New Year’s day.
Under the theme “The UAE as a Crossroads of Civilisation” this year’s festival is the biggest to date with 500 outlets displaying traditional products from 17 countries.
