Sultan of Oman receives Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah

MUSCAT, 13th June, 2023 (WAM) — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, and H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, discussed ways to further strengthen the long-standing relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate.This came as His Majesty Sultan Haitham welcomed the RAK Ruler, who is on an official visit to the Sultanate, at Al Baraka Palace in the Omani capital, today.Sheikh Saud conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to Sultan Haitham, and his best wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Sultanate and its brotherly people.His Majesty Sultan Haitham and Sheikh Saud engaged in a friendly conversation in the presence of H.H. Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Oman, Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice-Chairman of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah’s Investment and Development Office, and Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi.The Sultan of Oman hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the RAK Ruler and his accompanying delegation, then bid him farewell, wishing further progress and prosperity to the United Arab EmiratesRAK Ruler left the UAE earlier this morning on an official visit at the start of which he was welcomed by Sayyed Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidi, the Minister of Diwan of Royal Court in Oman, and Mohamed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, the UAE ambassador to the Oman.
