|By TAP Staff|UAE’s leading home-grown building materials company Danube Buildmart has rebranded itself as Danube Home and announced former Miss India and Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla as the new brand ambassador. The company also unveiled a new logo and announced the addition of soft furnishing to its portfolio of products.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rizwan Sajan said that in much the same manner that Juhi has been a trailblazer, Danube has been consolidating and expanding its presence in the GCC and Mena regions, by constantly introducing a range of trendsetting products and back-up services in these markets.
Established in the year 1993 in Dubai, Danube Group, a company with humble beginnings as a small trading firm, recently achieved another milestone by recording revenues in excess of AED2 billion in revenues for the year 2013.

Chawla’s multi-faceted career has been marked by versatility and a quest for excellence, bothon and off screen. Her debut in 1988 was followed by a string of on-screen successes, culminating in the Filmfare Best Actress Award in 1993. From actress in mainstream, art and independent cinema, to film producer and later co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, an Indian Premier League cricket franchise, the trendsetting Chawla has distinguished herself in each role. Scaling new frontiers has been second nature to Chawla, who will be one of the female leads in a Hollywood production soon.
