US aircraft carrier to stay in Gulf: Pentagon

WASHINGTONG: The US reversed a decision to bring an aircraft carrier home from the Gulf Sunday, with the Pentagon saying that due to “recent threats” by Iran the USS Nimitz would stay in position.
