Florence Henderson, who starred in the beloved TV sitcom The Brady Bunch, has died. She was 82.
The actress, best known for her role as Carol Brady in the aforementioned classic ABC series, passed away on Thursday night after suffering heart failure, according to Henderson’s manager, Kayla Pressman (via San Francisco Chronicle).
Henderson was hospitalized on Wednesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, her publicist, David Brokaw said in a statement.
The Brady Bunch aired from 1969 to 1974 and centered around a family of six children, with Henderson starring as the mother. She reprised her role as Carol Brady in a short-lived followup series called The Bradys, and played the grandma in The Brady Bunch Movie, which debuted in 1995.
