Officials in Mezyad Customs Centre in Abu Dhabi pulled over an Arab truck driver and conducted a search. They found two people hiding in the spare tyre compartment, Khaleej Times reported.

Mohammed Khadem Al Hameli, acting director of Abu Dhabi’s general administration of customs, said that tackling illegal migration is among the most dangerous operations facing customs officers.

The driver and immigrants will face legal action, the newspaper said.
