Dubai roads congested as workers return, schools reopen and fog continues

DUBAI // Three accidents were reported in Dubai and near Sharjah with police continuing to warn motorists to drive safely in foggy conditions.

Three vehicles were involved in an accident near the Business Bay metro station on Al Khaleej Al Tejari street, Dubai Police said.

Accidents were also reported on Dubai Al Ain road near Al Abraj Road and in Sharjah on Al Wahda Street.

With people returning to work and schools reopening on Monday, traffic was at a near standstill near the American University in Dubai, Dubai Marina, Business Bay, Al Khail Road and near Jumeirah Village Circle.
