The latest response followed the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10, 2026. The support from 1win Charity reached nearly 2,000 people, who received drinking water, food and hygiene kits, warm meals, blankets, sleeping mats, and first-aid supplies. A member of the 1win VIP community, Valentina Gómez, and Colombian creator Yeferson Cossio visited the affected communities to deliver relief.

Earlier in the year, 1win Charity supported more than 8,000 families after the June earthquakes in Venezuela. Working alongside local emergency organizations, hospitals, and community leaders, 1win delivered food, water, hygiene products, medicines, and medical supplies across affected communities in Caracas, La Guaira, and Miranda.

In Chile, 1win Charity carried out two major relief initiatives. Following extreme rainfall, winds, and storm surges in July, 1win Charity volunteers joined cleanup and debris-removal efforts in Quillón and Bulnes, while the organization provided rescue boats, drinking water, tools, protective equipment, and other provisions to communities and emergency teams.

The response followed an earlier initiative in the wake of devastating wildfires in Biobío and Ñuble, which burned more than 34,000 hectares. At the beginning of 2026, together with professional boxer Andrés Campos and the Chilean National Content Creators, 1win Charity supplied drinking water and emergency kits. Combined, the two Chilean initiatives supported approximately 20,000 families.

“For us, a long-term commitment to Latin America means being present all the time — during the happy celebrations and when communities face their most difficult moments. Our approach is to listen to local needs, work with trusted partners, and provide practical support where it can make a real difference,” 1win Charity representatives mentioned.

The two models share the same underlying system, but Anthropic has separated access according to risk. Fable 5.1 carries tighter protections intended for broad commercial use, while Mythos 5.1 offers more permissive settings […]

Google DeepMind has completed what it describes as the world’s first double-blind evaluation of a proprietary frontier-class artificial intelligence model, testing Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite while preventing both the developer and external evaluators from accessing each other’s confidential material. The pilot represents a significant attempt to address benchmark contamination, one of the most persistent weaknesses in measuring advanced AI systems. Under conventional testing arrangements, model developers may gain […]

A Russian-speaking ransomware operation has used the Cursor artificial intelligence coding agent to support intrusions into corporate networks, exposing how commercial AI assistants can be manipulated to accelerate hacking once attackers gain access to a target. Operators linked to the Aurora ransomware group employed Cursor Agent during hands-on exploitation of at least 10 organisations between April 8 and May 21, 2026. The AI system helped with network […]

A federal judge has struck down the Pentagon’s blacklisting of artificial intelligence company Anthropic, ruling that the government unlawfully retaliated against the Claude developer over its restrictions on military uses of AI. US District Judge Rita F. Lin said the Defence Department’s decision to designate Anthropic as a national security “supply chain risk” violated the company’s First Amendment rights and was arbitrary and capricious. The ruling removes […]

More than 100 technology, financial and security organisations have warned that the world has only months to strengthen digital defences before increasingly capable artificial intelligence systems make sophisticated cyberattacks cheaper, faster and far easier to scale. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Oracle and IBM are among the companies backing a global call for governments and businesses to treat cyber defence as an immediate priority. The […]

Anthropic has agreed to spend about $45 billion over six years to secure artificial intelligence computing capacity from British infrastructure company Nscale, deepening the Claude developer’s push to lock in scarce power and advanced chips ahead of an anticipated stock market listing. The agreement covers roughly 460 megawatts of computing capacity at Nscale’s Monarch Compute Campus in Mason County, West Virginia. Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin systems are […]

Matein Khalid I feel as if I am no longer skating on thin ice with the AI bubble on Nasdaq but now tiptoeing on a minefield that could well explode at any moment under my feet. Why this premonition of imminent disaster? It is clear that Iran is going to humiliate President Trump and not do any kind of a deal to open the Strait of Hormuz […]

Anthropic’s plan to embed invisible watermarks in text generated by future Claude models has triggered a sharp debate among heavy AI users who fear their reliance on the chatbot could become detectable in professional, academic and creative work. The company says the technology will allow authorised detection systems to estimate whether Claude was involved in producing a passage, without inserting hidden characters, altering its visible appearance or […]

China’s artificial intelligence race has intensified with Z. ai unveiling a coding model with powerful cybersecurity capabilities and DeepSeek pushing an upgraded flagship into wider commercial use, reinforcing the country’s growing challenge to leading US developers. Z. ai’s GLM-5.3 has emerged as the more striking of the two launches because of its ability to identify software vulnerabilities. The company said the model scored 84.5 per cent on […]

Anthropic is negotiating a possible $6 billion acquisition of artificial intelligence infrastructure company Decart AI, a transaction that could become the Claude developer’s largest takeover and strengthen its ability to reduce the soaring cost of running advanced AI models. The discussions remain unfinished and could still collapse. The proposed deal centres less on expanding Anthropic’s consumer product portfolio than on improving the economics of computing. Decart develops […]
