UAE traffic: Broken down car causes heavy congestion

ABU DHABI // A broken down vehicle caused heavy congestion on the junction of Sultan bin Zayed the First Street and Mawgab (27th) Street towards the city.

The Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport reported the incident on Twitter at 7.38am. The incident caused traffic delays along the street and was cleared by 8.04am.

Police reminded motorists to take extra care on the road and adhere to all traffic rules, especially when driving in conditions of fog and low visibility.

No major traffic incidents have been reported in Dubai.
