West Zone Group Pledges 130 Million Dirhams for Education

The West Zone Group, a prominent UAE entity, has made a significant contribution to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, a visionary initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Their commitment includes a 130 million dirham donation dedicated to constructing a unique endowment building. This building’s ongoing revenue will be specifically directed towards supporting educational programs worldwide.

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign, established in March 2024, aims to create a sustainable funding source for educational opportunities by raising a staggering 1 billion dirhams. West Zone Group’s impactful contribution exemplifies the growing community response to achieving the campaign’s ambitious goals.

The announcement took place in Dubai during a ceremony attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. During the event, West Zone Group representatives highlighted their unwavering commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts in the UAE, particularly those championed by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).

“West Zone Group’s contribution to the campaign by establishing an endowment building that dedicates its proceeds to supporting education reflects our firm belief that education is the cornerstone of development and a brighter future,” stated a West Zone Group spokesperson. “We are honored to play a role in this exceptional initiative that empowers millions to acquire knowledge and skills, ultimately improving their communities.”

The innovative approach of the endowment building ensures a lasting impact. The building itself will generate revenue that will continuously flow towards educational projects. This strategy aligns perfectly with the Mothers’ Endowment campaign’s objective of establishing a sustainable source of funding for educational endeavors.

Officials from MBRGI expressed their appreciation for West Zone Group’s generous contribution. They emphasized the significance of the endowment building, describing it as a testament to the group’s dedication to propelling positive change through education. The MBRGI representative underscored that this campaign provides individuals around the world with the chance to gain valuable knowledge and training, ultimately empowering them to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
