DUBAI // A 30-year-old tourist confessed to working as a prostitute when she appeared at Dubai Criminal Court.

The Nigerian woman was caught by a security guard inside a men’s accommodation block in the Al Quoz industrial area where she had sex with several men for Dh150 each in October this year.

“The security guard told me that he caught the woman after she got out of one of the rooms. Several men confessed to having had sex with her. The woman initially denied it, but later said she had sex with them for Dh150 each,” said an Emirati police officer.

A verdict is expected on January 9.
