QCC empowers regulators to establish and implement product safety, legal metrology and conformity schemes. Furthermore, the Council sets guidelines and benchmarks to verify that the products manufactured and traded in Abu Dhabi conform to the highest quality standards.

Set up in 2010, Gulfmet seeks to strengthen the metrology and calibration capabilities, and serves as a vital link between NMIs and Joint Committee of the Regional Metrology (JCRB) – part of International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM).  Eng.
