Train to Busan (2016)

Talking Architect (2012)

Green Days: Dinosaur and I (2011)

Set in a 1970s rural town, this animated film is a nostalgic coming-of-age story about a high-school girl struggling to find meaning in her life, who learns to confront her biggest fears while falling in love for the first time.

The World of Us (2016)

Family drama telling the story of Sun, an outcast at school who, during the summer holidays, meets Jia, a newcomer to town. As Sun shows Jia around the neighbourhood and they play at each other’s houses and share secrets, they become best friends.

The Throne (2015)

In the year 1762, crown prince Sado is accused of plotting treason against his father, King Yeongjo of the Joseon dynasty, who has ruled for 35 years. ­Yeongjo is faced with a dilemma as condemning his son would make him the father of a traitor, ­threatening his throne.

Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet (2016)

Biographical drama, set in the Japanese colonial era, about a young poet called Dong-ju, who writes about the harsh reality of his life. As Japan’s policies get more severe, writing in Korean is prohibited.

Tunnel (2016)

A car dealer on his way home with a birthday cake for his daughter drives into a tunnel that collapses on him, trapping him in the debris.
