Enjoy two films as part of the Cinema Space screenings at Manarat Al Saadiyat. Tales of the Night is a 2011 family-friendly animated film by Michel Ocelot that tells six exotic fables that each take place in a unique locale and blend history with fairytales, with each fable ending with a twist. Jules and Jim, a 1962 film by Francois Truffaut, tells the story of two men – the Austrian Jules and the Frenchman Jim – who fall in love with the same woman, Catherine, in Paris before the Second World War. Catherine loves and marries Jules. Years later, after the war, they meet again in Germany and this time Catherine falls for Jim. In French with English subtitles.

Book tickets for Jordi Savall Ibn Battuta: The Voyager of Islam II, Travels Through India and China. As part of the Abu Dhabi Classics series, musician Savall returns to the capital with performers from India and China to present his sequel to the music that traveller Ibn Battuta heard during his visits to royal courts, palaces, public places and small villages. Additionally, readings from Ibn Battuta’s travel journal will complement the performances.
