Avaya opens new office in Doha

DUBAI, 3 days ago

Avaya, a leading provider of solutions that enable customer and team engagement across multiple channels and devices, has opened a new office in Doha, in line with Qatar’s 2030 National Vision.

The office is located in the Doha Tower on the Doha Corniche, said a statement.

The company plans to help local channel partners expand both technical and specific industry sector skills to deliver the networking infrastructure, engagement solutions and service needed for a sustainable and dynamic business environment, it said.

A stronger local presence will also enable the company to quickly mobilise the technical support services needed for rapid response to critical customer needs.

Avaya has already been serving Qatar-based customers from the telecom, hospitality, construction, oil and gas industries and government organisations for more than a decade, working through a number of leading system integrators, said the statement.

The company’s contact centre, unified communication and mid-market communication technologies are deployed by leading enterprises in the country, it said.

Avaya and its partners are currently engaged in a number of digital transformation projects, building mobile-enabled engagement environments across many key services-based sectors.

With a number of recent networking infrastructure projects won in the hospitality and retail sectors, Avaya aims to help build a smart foundation for the country’s most promising non-hydrocarbon industries.

These projects will help the businesses provide better security through highly reliable CCTV networking, expand indoor and outdoor wireless connectivity and provide a foundation on which new smart services can be quickly developed and effortlessly deployed in the future.
