Google to Appeal Antitrust Ruling in Landmark Case

Google has been dealt a significant blow in the US antitrust case, with Judge Amit Mehta ruling that the tech giant has maintained an illegal monopoly over online search. The ruling, issued on August 5, 2024, concluded that Google violated antitrust laws by using its dominant market position to stifle competition and inflate advertising prices.
