Dr Al Awadhi expressed the UAE’s denunciation of the Swiss statement against Bahrain made at the Human Rights Council, reported Wam, the state news agency.

He said such issues should be resolved through bilateral channels between Bahrain and Switzerland and that Bahrain has made steps to improve its human rights record.

Dr Al Awadhi said Bahrain’s security and stability is integral to that of the UAE, according to Wam.
