Gulfnet gets ISO quality management certification

Gulfnet Communications Co, a leading provider of information and communications technology services, has received the ISO 9001:2008 for the fifth consecutive year after an extensive audit of the company’s internal operations.

The ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification demonstrates Gulfnet’s robust quality management system to guide and govern its operations across the company, said a statement.

The certification is an important step in assuring that customers continue to receive the optimum quality and service from Gulfnet, it said.

Dr Ahmad Salih, chief executive officer, said: “The ISO certification comes in line with one of our strategic significances by ensuring the services we provide to our clients are reflected in our internal processes, procedures and culture within our business. 

“The certification represents a process of continuous improvement for our business, while maintaining this certification was a result of close collaboration across all the departments in the company. Compliance with such international standards reflects the Company’s continued efforts in adhering to the highest levels of service quality.”

The ISO certification is based on quality management principles including strong customer focus, process approach, and continual improvement and review. Gulfnet received the certification after the successful completion of the recertification audit of all its departments by an accredited third party auditing organisation, said the statement.

The company’s recognition demonstrates its commitment to applying the highest quality control measures across its operations, it said.
