Brig Hassan Ibrahim Ali, deputy director general of central operations at RAK Police, said that initial investigations revealed that another car cut in front of their vehicle and this affected the driver’s concentration and control of the car.

The man’s body was taken to hospital before being handed over to his family for a funeral.

Brig Ali asked all motorists to adhere to traffic rules and speed limits.
