The overnight deluge of rain in the UAE, which carried on into the morning, has seriously affected traffic in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The downpour saw the normally heavy morning traffic grind to halt in many places in Dubai and the capital.
Multiple accidents were showing up on the Google’s traffic map for Dubai and Abu Dhabi this morning, with Dubai police warning drivers to “reduce speed during heavy rain to avoid any hydroplaning”.
