Prof Schwab, who is in Dubai for the World Economic Forum Global Future Councils inaugural summit, said the UAE’s approach to development has earned it a notable global standing in building the future.

Also in attendance were Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group; Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation; Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed; Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future and Co-chairman of the Global Future Councils, and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of Dubai’s Protocol Department.
