New Kong: Skull Island Trailer Goes Ape

new kong skull island trailer goes ape e2xd.640

The second trailer for Kong: Skull Island debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight, featuring more of cinema’s biggest ape (who’s bigger in this film than he’s ever been depicted before).

The film, directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, and Samuel L. Jackson. The new trailer for the Vietnam era-set tale opens with CCR’s “Bad Moon Rising” blaring as our characters undertake their mission only to run afoul of King Kong.

The trailer also features a bit more humor than the first trailer did, this time courtesy of John C. Reilly’s character, as well as the other monsters who inhabit Skull Island.
