Moroccan Cyber Startup Defendis Emerges with AI-Powered Threat Intelligence Platform

Defendis, a Moroccan cybersecurity startup, has officially launched its innovative AI-powered threat intelligence platform designed to help organizations proactively combat cyberattacks and data leaks.

The platform goes beyond traditional methods by providing organizations with the ability to anticipate cybercriminal activity before an attack occurs. This is achieved through AI that scans for a variety of threats, including leaked credentials and payment card information, vulnerabilities in assets, phishing attempts, fraudulent domains, and online brand impersonation.

“Defendis’ mission is to empower organizations, particularly those with limited resources, with advanced cybersecurity solutions, ” said Amine Bajeddi, co-founder and CEO of Defendis. “This will allow them to adapt to the constantly evolving threat landscape and stay compliant with regulations. “

The startup is led by a team of passionate young Moroccan entrepreneurs with a deep understanding of cybersecurity:

  • Amine Bajeddi (Co-Founder & CEO):A graduate of Al Akhawayn University (Morocco) and the University of Sussex (UK), Bajeddi brings his extensive experience in product development and business strategy to Defendis, focusing on creating cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.
  • Charafeddine Nassiri (Co-Founder & CTO):Nassiri, a self-taught cybersecurity expert with a passion for the field since the age of 15, has identified and fixed over 1, 114 vulnerabilities through bug bounty programs. This expertise led him to launch his career as a cybersecurity consultant in 2019. Now, as CTO of Defendis, he spearheads the development of innovative solutions designed to revolutionize cybersecurity.
  • Marouane Sabri (Co-Founder & CMO):With a degree in Communication from Al Akhawayn University and a Master’s in Digital Marketing from the University of Southampton, Sabri brings a wealth of experience in marketing and business development to Defendis. Prior to joining the startup, he held key positions at Avito and Garena.

Defendis is committed to empowering organizations of all sizes to defend themselves against the ever-growing threat of cyberattacks. Their AI-powered platform provides proactive threat detection and neutralization capabilities, allowing organizations to safeguard their data and infrastructure.
