(Left to Right) Mr Martin Liu, Vice President of XTransfer, Mr Bill Deng, Founder and CEO of XTransfer, Mr Liu Chao, General Manager of the Global Corporate Banking Department of BOCHK, Ms Winnie Fan, Deputy General Manager of the Global Corporate Banking Department of BOCHK.

Coinciding with Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026, Mr Martin Liu, Vice President of XTransfer and Ms Winnie Fan, Deputy General Manager of the Global Corporate Banking Department of BOCHK, officially signed the cooperation agreement at the XTransfer booth, witnessed by Mr Bill Deng, Founder and CEO of XTransfer and Mr Liu Chao, General Manager of the Global Corporate Banking Department of BOCHK, marking a new stage in the partnership between the two parties.

Under this cooperation, XTransfer and BOCHK will collaborate in depth across business areas including global collections, payments, and foreign exchange. Leveraging BOCHK’s professional capabilities in cross-border settlement and foreign exchange trading, as well as its unique position as the RMB clearing bank in Hong Kong, combined with XTransfer’s self-built globally unified B2B cross-border settlement network and risk management system, the two parties will jointly create an efficient, lower-cost, and compliant fund collection, payment, and currency exchange experience for foreign trade enterprises. Under this cooperation model, XTransfer is the first corporate partner of BOCHK.

As the cooperation progresses, foreign trade enterprises in Hong Kong and around the world will be able to access global cross-border collection, payment, and foreign exchange services more conveniently, meeting their multi-currency transaction and settlement needs across different markets. Both parties expect that by reducing the handover points in cross-border transaction processes, they can enhance the service experience and capital turnover efficiency, helping enterprises seize global trade opportunities more flexibly.

This cooperation also reflects XTransfer’s continuously deepening Financial Institution Partnership Model. Financial institution partners can act as “Co-builders“, providing cross-border collection, payment, and foreign exchange capabilities; at the same time, through XTransfer’s network covering over one million business customers, they can reach more enterprise customer segments with cross-border financial service needs, achieving complementary capabilities and shared strengths.

Mr Bill Deng, Founder and CEO of XTransfer, said, “We are very honored to sign the cooperation agreement with BOCHK during Hong Kong FinTech Week. BOCHK is one of Hong Kong’s most representative banks, with deep expertise in cross-border settlement and foreign exchange services. This cooperation combines the strengths of both parties, enabling SMEs to enjoy cross-border financial services of the same standard as large multinational corporations. Going forward, we will continue to refine our compliance and risk control capabilities and work with more financial institution partners to build trustworthy cross-border financial infrastructure.”

The latest partnership introduces limited-edition designs and curated experiences this festive season, bringing a new spirit of celebration to the region

HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 2 November 2026 – Carlsberg Asia today announced the next chapter of 1664’spartnership with CLOT, launching the festive campaign “Make Celebrations Extraordinary” across the Chinese Mainland, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam from November 2026 through February 2027.

1664 x CLOT Make Celebrations Extraordinary Campaign - Key Visual.jpeg

Building on the partnership’s successful debut Hong Kong last year, 1664, the world’s No. 1* French beer brand, and CLOT, the pioneering fashion label founded by Edison Chen, are expanding the East-Meets-French story to a wider audience. The partnership introduces limited-edition 1664 x CLOT beer cans and exclusive merchandise, alongside a series of curated experiences that bring Asia a new way to celebrate across cultures and occasions.

Arindam Varanasi, Commercial Vice President, Carlsberg Asia, said: “The success of our first collaboration with CLOT proved that when 1664 shows up in culture, consumers respond. This year, we are expanding the partnership into the Chinese Mainland which is our largest market — a further step in strengthening our premium portfolio in Asia. By fusing CLOT’s dynamic energy with 1664’s French heritage, we are bringing our ‘unquestionably good taste’ spirit to life and redefining celebration across the region.”

Make Celebrations Extraordinary: From Design to Moments

At the heart of the campaign is CLOT’s signature Silk Royale pattern, a motif inspired by the elegance of Chinese silk, its intricate geometric lines referencing luxurious jacquard with a modern edge. For this collaboration, the pattern is reimagined in vibrant festive hues, flowing across 1664’s iconic blue-and-white design in a visual dialogue between Asian tradition and French audacity.

Anchored by 1664’s signature cocarde, a nod to the brand’s French heritage and brewing craftsmanship, the 1664 x CLOT design motifs commemorate this special time of year. Exclusively for this collaboration, the CLOT’s iconic Silk Royale pattern is reimagined in a vibrant, multi-coloured treatment. Illuminated by neon-inspired outlines, the design evokes the glow and vibrant energy of Asia in blues, reds and yellows accented by firework patterns, capturing the uplifting moment when celebrations come alive with 1664.

The interplay between CLOT’s richly coloured patterns and 1664’s clean red, white and blue palette creates a contemporary elegance that captures the spirit of celebration in style, where East meets French and tradition meets modernity.

Beyond the beer cans, the 1664 x CLOT design motifs extend to a range of exclusive merchandise. The key highlight is a bespoke apparel collection curated by CLOT for the campaign, including T-shirts, socks and caps, each piece infused with festive vibrancy and the collaboration’s East-meets-French spirit, bringing the partnership to life beyond the taste and into the moments people share.

Two-day exhibition on 14 and 15 November at St. Regis Singapore presents six Laguna Phuket developments, as more buyers make Phuket home

SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 2 November 2026 – Banyan Group Residences returns with a two-day sales exhibition on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026, presenting six signature developments from its Phuket collection in the Diplomat Room, St. Regis Singapore, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Banyan Group Residences Returns to Singapore with Exclusive Phuket Residences Showcase

Singapore buyers are already familiar with Phuket, and demand is shifting from holiday ownership towards long-term residency. This collection is designed for that shift: full-time homes within an established resort community, not just investment property.

The exhibition follows record first-half sales for Banyan Group Residences, up 38% year on year.

“Singapore has long been one of our most important buyer markets, and what we are seeing now is a shift in how buyers think about Phuket – not only as a holiday destination, but as a place to live,” said Stuart Reading, Managing Director of Banyan Group Residences. “More people are choosing to make Phuket home, and that is what makes it a sound long-term investment.”

Laguna Phuket is home to more than 70 nationalities, and across Phuket foreign buyers now account for over 60% of condominium purchases, many choosing to live in their properties rather than simply invest.

Banyan Group Residences expects to launch up to USD 1 billion in new luxury projects in Phuket over the next two to three years.

Ranked first in Asia and fifth globally for branded residences (Savills, 2025-26), Banyan Group Residences will showcase six developments at the exhibition, including some of the most exclusive it has ever released:

Banyan Tree Beach Residences Nerea

Just six three-bedroom duplex residences between Laguna Phuket’s lagoons and Bang Tao Beach, with yacht-inspired design, private pools and a home gym in each.

Banyan Tree Beach Residences Oceanus

Sixteen absolute beachfront residences on Bang Tao Beach, each with a private pool and up to 768 square metres of space – among the most luxurious condominiums ever released in Phuket.

Banyan Tree Beach Residences Varuna

Eight four-bedroom beachfront townhomes on Bang Tao Beach, each with a private lift, garden terrace and rooftop infinity pool facing the Andaman Sea sunset.

Angsana Golf Residences Topaz

Two- and three-bedroom residences and penthouses in three low-rise buildings overlooking Laguna Golf Phuket, with private rooftop pools.

Bellaguna Golf Residences

Low-rise buildings amid tropical gardens overlooking Laguna Golf Phuket, with one- to three-bedroom condominiums and two- to three-bedroom penthouses with private pools.

Bellaguna Lake Residences

One- to three-bedroom condominiums and two- to three-bedroom penthouses on the Laguna Phuket lagoon, with private rooftop pools on selected units.

Owners receive Sanctuary Club membership, with privileges at Banyan Group hotels, RAVA Beach Club and Laguna Golf access, plus a year of complimentary property management.

Banyan Living

Owners can also opt into Banyan Living, the Group’s hospitality-led rental and management platform.

The 2026 REACH Reggio Emilia Conference will position Singapore as a regional hub for early childhood excellence, bringing together global thinking, regional best practice and leaders from across the education ecosystem.

SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 2 November 2026 – EtonHouse and E-Bridge will deepen their ongoing collaboration with Reggio Children through a new partnership focused on professional learning in infant care and early childhood education. The partnership will deepen this work through regular professional dialogue, research projects and professional learning, connected with Reggio Children and the experience of the infant-toddler centres and pre-schools of Reggio Emilia.

REACH Reggio Emilia Conference 2026 under the theme Education in Complex Times.
REACH Reggio Emilia Conference 2026 under the theme Education in Complex Times.

The partnership marks an important milestone at the 2026 REACH Reggio Emilia Conference, which opened in Singapore on 30 October 2026. As artificial intelligence transforms how children learn, create and interact with the world, educators are confronting a fundamental question: What kind of future are we preparing children for?

Over two days, from 30 to 31 October, the conference brings together more than 400 educators, school leaders, policymakers, regulators and researchers from Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Australia, the wider ASEAN region, South America, the Middle East and Italy.

Senior Minister of State Goh Pei Ming, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development, attended as the Guest-of-Honour and addressed delegates at the conference.

Singapore participants include representatives from the country’s Anchor Operators, the Early Childhood Development Agency, the Ministry of Social and Family Development and the Ministry of Education, alongside educators, trainers and leaders from across the sector.

Organised by REACH (Reggio Emilia in Asia for Children), part of the EtonHouse Group, in partnership with Reggio Children, which works closely with the municipal infant-toddler centres and pre-schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, and supported by the Embassy of Italy in Singapore, the conference explores how education can respond to rapid technological change while protecting the deeply human foundations of learning.

Held under the theme “Education in Complex Times: Children, Democratic Cultures and the Role of Childhood in Shaping the Future,” the conference examines how education can nurture the qualities children need to navigate uncertainty: curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, agency and the ability to participate meaningfully in their communities.

By connecting international perspectives with regional experience and Singapore’s early childhood leadership, the conference aims to strengthen Singapore’s position as a hub for early childhood excellence, professional exchange, best practice and global educational thinking.

The conference follows renewed international attention on the Reggio Emilia Approach after Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales visited Reggio Emilia in May 2026 as part of her longstanding work in early childhood development. Her reflections on the importance of nature, creativity and human connection brought to the forefront the significance of an educational philosophy that places children’s rights, relationships and potential at the centre of learning, principles that are especially relevant in today’s complex and rapidly changing world.

Key Conference Initiatives

The conference creates opportunities for participants to engage with:

  • Global pedagogical thinking, led by educators from Reggio Children and informed by the educational experience of Reggio Emilia.
  • Regional best-practice exchange, with educators from Singapore and across the region presenting enquiries grounded in their own cultural and educational contexts.
  • Immersive professional learning, including atelier experiences and school visits, connecting educational philosophy with everyday practice.
Keynote speakers Annalisa Rainieri and Valentina Violi invite delegates to consider how educational environments and pedagogy nurture a childhood that every child deserves. Project-sharing sessions further demonstrate how principles inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach can be interpreted thoughtfully across different cultures and education systems.

His Excellency Dante Brandi, Ambassador of Italy to Singapore, said:

“Reggio Emilia has given the world far more than a pedagogy—it has given us a way of trusting children as capable, curious protagonists of their own learning. As artificial intelligence reshapes how the youngest generations engage with knowledge, this Italian approach to early childhood education becomes an even more valuable compass. The Embassy of Italy is proud to support a conference that brings this heritage into dialogue with Singapore and the wider region.”

Speaking at the conference, Ms Bipasha Minocha, Chief Executive Officer of REACH, said: “Alongside our ongoing professional learning, we will be embarking on shared research projects with Reggio Children, involving educators from both EtonHouse and E-Bridge.”

She added: “For me, democratic culture lives in the daily choices of a school. Who is listened to? Can an idea change direction because a child has contributed something none of us expected?”

The conference builds on REACH’s longstanding partnership with Reggio Children and follows the Mosaic of Marks, Words, Material exhibition and conference held in Singapore in 2024, further strengthening the city’s role as a centre for educational dialogue and professional learning.

Multi-model risk scoring and multimodal detection of suspected minors help the adults-only platform find and act on harmful content in real time

SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 31 October 2026 – Chamet, a global live streaming and video chat platform with more than 50 million downloads on Google Play worldwide, is expanding its use of multimodal, multi-model AI to moderate live content and protect users. Southeast Asia is one of Chamet’s strongest regions, and its safety systems are built for live video.

Singapore has moved quickly on online harms. The Online Safety Commission began operations on June 29, 2026, and can direct platforms to disable harmful content or restrict accounts in cases such as online harassment and intimate image abuse. Since March 31, 2025, IMDA’s online safety code for app stores has required designated app stores to roll out age assurance that keeps children away from apps rated 18+.

Multimodal Detection of Suspected Minors

Chamet is open only to adults aged 18 and over, with zero tolerance for underage users. Rather than relying on one signal, its system combines profile photos, live-stream frames, video, voice, text, self-reported age and account behaviour. Each case receives a risk level based on model confidence, and the system can restrict content, limit interactions, or restrict the account. Human reviewers check cases before final decisions. Accounts found to have falsified their age are permanently suspended.

Multi-Model Fusion for Content Review

Chamet runs several moderation models and third-party services, each with its own labels and confidence scales. The platform maps their outputs onto one shared risk scale, then weighs them by content type, where the content appears, and each model’s track record. Each item gets one risk level, and a consistent action, with the highest-risk cases reviewed first.

These systems work alongside real-person face verification, safeguards against unauthorised screen recording, in-app reporting and blocking, and an appeals process. Chamet also offers free real-time AI translation in more than 50 languages, turning speech into on-screen subtitles during video calls.

“In a live video call, harm can happen in seconds, so safety has to work just as fast,” said David Qi, Chief Marketing Officer of Chamet. “By combining many models and signals, our review teams can spot risk sooner and make more consistent decisions. Connecting people and keeping them safe are two parts of the same job.”

HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 30 October 2026 – International Business Settlement Holdings Limited (“IBS” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”; stock code: 0147.HK) entered into a Share Purchase Agreement with the shareholder of QuantumCompute Solutions Limited (“QuantumCompute Solutions”) to acquire its entire equity interests for a consideration of HK$563 million. Upon Completion, QuantumCompute Solutions will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of IBS, and its financial results will be consolidated into the Group’s financial statements.

QuantumCompute Solutions indirectly owns approximately 85.94% equity interest in Shanghai Tianjing Fulian. Shanghai Tiangjing Fulian is also 5.56%-owned by Foxconn Industrial Internet, the shares of which are listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 601138.SH). The Shanghai Tianjing Fulian Group is principally engaged in the design and development of AI SoC products and integrated solutions, with a particular focus on low-power, cost-effective AI computing and edge computing applications. Through its chip design capabilities and comprehensive technology solutions, the Shanghai Tianjing Fulian Group has established a solid technological foundation in AI inference and edge-side computing infrastructure. The Shanghai Tianjing Fulian Group is an officially authorised independent chip design house for MediaTek Inc., a leading global semiconductor company.

The Directors believe that the Acquisition will enable the Group to expand its business scope from its existing fintech and computing power services into AI chip design and edge computing infrastructure, thereby strengthening its technology capabilities and building a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing computer infrastructure, AI chips and AI application solutions. This strategic expansion aligns with strong growth in the AI semiconductor, edge computing, and digital infrastructure sectors, driven by rising demand for low-latency, real-time AI solutions as well as supportive government policies promoting semiconductor innovation and digital infrastructure investment.

The Group has appointed Dr. Tang Tianshen as its chief strategic consultant to advise on the the strategic development and operations of the Group’s fintech-related businesses. Dr. Tang holds a doctorate in electronic engineering from Texas A&M University and possesses extensive expertise spanning academic research, advanced chip design, and executive leadership in the semiconductor industry. Dr. Tang has served in senior roles of various leading technology companies, including Intel, Shanghai Hua Hong and SMIC.

The Board considers that the transaction represents an opportunity to acquire immediate access to AI chip design capabilities, specialised technical talent, established technology assets, and growth opportunities in the AI industry. Compared with developing such capabilities internally, the Acquisition is expected to accelerate the Group’s entry into the AI semiconductor and edge computing sectors, shorten development time, and strengthen its competitive position in the evolving digital economy. In the long term, the Acquisition is expected to support the establishment of an ecosystem covering computing infrastructure, AI chips, and AI application solutions, creating sustainable growth drivers and delivering long-term value to shareholders.

The capital will be deployed in stages across three new business lines, beginning in Brazil.

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Media OutReach Newswire – 30 October 2026 – 10 CENTS CAPITAL SDN. BHD. (“10 CENTS CAPITAL”) has completed US$20 million in financing. With the capital, the well-known Malaysian investment holding company is adding three business lines of its own to its investment activities and will deploy the funds in phases, starting in Brazil.

John Lee, Head of International Markets, 10 CENTS CAPITAL.
John Lee, Head of International Markets, 10 CENTS CAPITAL.

How the capital will be deployed
The three new lines are AI business applications, global multilingual marketing and cross-border B2B trade. Part of the capital will build the technology and service base, including AI tools for customer research, marketing content and localisation, and the service model the business will run on. Another part will support cross-border B2B operations: research, information management and enquiry handling.

The remainder is set aside for market development, beginning with market entry in Brazil, the plan’s first market. Local operations there will be handled by its Brazil operating brand, VIVAMOMENTO.

Strategic rationale
Since 2022, 10 CENTS CAPITAL has backed companies across digital technology, e-commerce, consumer services and enterprise services. The three new lines extend that experience into businesses the company builds and runs itself, in areas it already knows well. Funding technology, service and market development together gives each line a complete foundation from the outset, instead of one assembled piece by piece.

“Completing this financing opens a new chapter for our company,” said 10 CENTS CAPITAL Director Peter LIEW. “We will deploy the capital with discipline, one stage at a time, so that each new business stands on a base strong enough to carry the next.”

Outlook
Deployment will proceed in phases, starting in Brazil, with further markets to follow as the new business develops. 10 CENTS CAPITAL will report progress at tencentscapital.com/news, and business and media enquiries are welcome via the contact page.
